Deck the Halls

Deck the halls with boughs of holly

Falalalala lalalala

‘Tis the season to be jolly

Falalalala lalalala

Don we now our gay apparel

Falala lalala lalala

Troll the ancient Yuletide carol

Falalalala lalala!

See the blazing yule before us

Falalalala lalalala

Strike the harp and join the chorus

Falalalala lalalala

Follow me in merry measure

Falala lalala lalala

While I tell of Yuletide treasure

Falalalala lalalala

Fast away the old year passes

Falalalala lalalala

Hail the new, ye lads and lasses

Falalalala lalalala

Sing we joyous all together

Falala lalala lalala

Heedless of the wind and weather

Falalalala lalalala

Jingle Bells

Dashing through the snow

In a one-horse open sleigh

O’er the hills we go

Laughing all the way

Bells on bobtails ring

Making spirits bright

What fun it is to laugh and sing

A sleighing song tonight

Jingle bells, Jingle bells

Jingle all the way!

O what fun it is to ride

In a one-horse open sleigh!

A day or two ago

I thought I’d take a ride

And soon Miss Fannie Bright

Was seated by my side

The horse was lean and lank

Misfortune seemed it’s lot

We got into a drifted bank

And then we got upsot!

Jingle bells, Jingle bells

Jingle all the way!

O what fun it is to ride

In a one-horse open sleigh!

Now the ground is white

Go it while you’re young

Take the girls tonight

And sing this sleighing song

Just get a bobtailed nag

Two-forty for his speed

Then hitch him to an open sleigh

And crack you’ll take the lead

Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town

You better watch out, you better not cry

You better not pout, I’m tellin’ you why

Santa Claus is comin’ to town

He’s making a wish and checking it twice

Gonna find out who’s naughty and nice

Santa Claus is coming to town

He sees you when you’re sleepin’ He knows when you’re awake

He knows if you’ve been bad or good So be good for goodness’ sake!

Oh! You better watch out, you better not cry

You better not pout, I’m tellin’ you why

Santa Claus is comin’ to town

With little tin horns, and little toy drums

Rooty-toot-toot and Rummy-tum-tum

Santa Claus is comin’ to town

And curly head dolls that toddle and coo

Elephants, boats and kiddie cars, too

Santa Claus is comin’ to town

The kids in girl-and-boy-land will have a jubilee

They’re gonna build a toy land town all around the Christmas tree

So! You better watch out, you better not cry

You better not pout, I’m tellin’ you why

Santa Claus is comin’ to town

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

Have yourself a merry little Christmas

Let your heart be light

From now on our troubles will be out of sight

Have yourself a merry little Christmas

Make the Yuletide gay

From now on our troubles will be miles away

Here we are as in olden days

Happy golden day of yore

Faithful friends who are dear to us

Gather near to us once more

Through the years we all be together

If the fates allow

Hang a shining star upon the highest bough

And have yourself

A merry little Christmas now

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

You know Dasher, and Dancer, and Prancer, and Vixen,

Comet, and Cupid, and Donner, and Blitzen

But do you recall the most famous reindeer of all?

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Had a very shiny nose

And if you ever saw it

You would even say it glows

All of the other reindeer

Used to laugh and call him names

They never let poor Rudolph

Join in any reindeer games

Then one foggy Christmas Eve

Santa came to say,

“Rudolph, with your nose so bright,

Won’t you guide my sleigh tonight?”

Then how the reindeer loved him

As they shouted out with glee:

“Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,

You’ll go down in history!”

“You’ll go down in history!”

Frosty the Snow Man

Frosty the Snow Man was a jolly happy soul

With a corncob pipe and a button nose

And two eyes made out of coal

Frosty the Snow Man is a fairytale they say

He was made of snow but the children know

How he came to life one day

There must have been some magic in that old silk hat they found

For when they placed it on his head he began to dance around

Oh! Frosty the Snow Man was alive as he could be

And the children say he could laugh and play

Just the same as you and me

Thumpety-thump-thump, thumpety-thump-thump, Look at Frosty go!

Thumpety-thump-thump, thumpety-thump-thump, over the hills of snow!

Frosty the Snow Man knew the sun was hot that day

So he said “Let’s run and we’ll have some fun

Now before I melt away!”

Down to the village with a broomstick in his hand

Running here and there all around the square sayin’,

“Catch me if you can.”

He led them down the streets of town right to the traffic cop

And he only paused a moment when he heard him holler, “Stop!”

For Frosty the Snow Man had to hurry on his way

But he waved goodbye sayin’, “Don’t you cry, I’ll be back again someday.”

Thumpety-thump-thump, thumpety-thump-thump, Look at Frosty go!

Thumpety-thump-thump, thumpety-thump-thump, over the hills of snow!

Angels We Have Heard on High

Angels we have heard on high

Sweetly singing o’er the plains

And the mountains in reply

Echoing their joyous strains

Gloria! In excelsis Deo!

Gloria! In excelsis Deo!

Shepherds why this jubilee?

Why your joyous strains prolong?

What the gladsome tidings be;

Which inspire your heav’nly song?

Gloria! In excelsis Deo!

Gloria! In excelsis Deo!

Come to Bethlehem and see

Him whose birth the angels sing

Come adore on blended knee

Christ, the Lord, our new-born King

Gloria! In excelsis Deo!

Gloria! In excelsis Deo!

Gloria! In excelsis Deo!

Gloria! In excelsis Deo!

Sleigh Ride

Just hear those sleigh bells jingle-ing

Ring ting tingle-ing too

Come on, it's lovely weather

For a sleigh ride together with you

Outside the snow is falling

And friends are calling "Yoo Hoo"

Come on, it's lovely weather

For a sleigh ride together with you

Giddy-yap giddy-yap giddy-yap

let's go

Let's look at the snow

We're riding in a wonderland of snow

Giddy-yap giddy-yap giddy-yap it's grand

Just holding your hand

We're gliding along with the song

Of a wintry fairy land

Our cheeks are nice and rosy

And comfy cozy are we

We're snuggled up together like two

Birds of a feather would be

Let's take the road before us

And sing a chorus or two

Come on, it's lovely weather

For a sleigh ride together with you

There's a birthday party at the home of Farmer Gray

It'll be the perfect ending of a perfect day

We'll be singing the songs we love to sing without a single stop

At the fireplace while we watch the chestnuts pop

Pop! Pop! Pop!

There's a happy feeling nothing in the world can buy

When they pass around the coffee and the pumpkin pie

It'll nearly be like a picture print by Currier and Ives

These wonderful things are the things

We remember all through our lives

Winter Wonderland

Sleigh bells ring, are you list’nin’?

In the lane snow is glis’nin’

A beautiful sight

We’re happy tonight

Walkin’ in a Winter Wonderland

Gone away is the bluebird

Here to stay is the new bird

He sings a love song

As we go along

Walkin’ in a Winter Wonderland

In the meadow we can build a snowman

Then pretend that he is Parson Brown

He’ll say “Are you married?” We’ll say, “No man!

But you can do the job when you’re in town.”

Later on we’ll conspire

As we dream by the fire

To face unafraid

The plans that we’ve made

Walkin’ in a Winter Wonderland

Walkin’ in a Winter Wonderland

Walkin’ in a Winter Wonderland.

The Twelve Days of Christmas

On the ___ day of Christmas my true love sent to me

Twelve drummers drumming

Eleven pipers piping

Ten lords a-leaping

Nine ladies dancing

Eight maids a-milking

Seven swans a-swimming

Six geese a-laying

Five golden rings

Four calling birds

Three French hens

Two turtle doves and

A partridge in a pear tree
